Tips For Organising Hen Parties

Hen parties are a really fun rite of passage for brides-to-be. They can be whatever you want them to be (and more importantly whatever the bride wants them to be) quiet affairs or something much more hedonistic and wild.
It’s obviously very important to get a hen party right, especially when you’re organising it on behalf of somebody else. Here are some tips and ideas:

Be careful who you invite, obviously you will probably want enough people there to make a great  party, but who should these people be? Work colleagues, close friends, family or a mixture or both?

On a related point, you should definitely consider consulting the bride about what she wants from a hen party. Is she the kind of person who has a wild side, likes a bit of fun or is she very demure? Obviously, the hen parties should reflect the personality of the bride, with a few surprises thrown in.

What about fancy dress? Adult fancy dress can make a great night out into something truly unique and special. You don’t have to push the boat out too much here, and cheap adult fancy dress costumes bought online will probably do the trick. Of course, be a bit careful about what costumes you choose!

Perhaps most importantly make sure you plan your hen party in advance as obviously it comes close to the wedding and so you don’t want it to disrupt wedding planning.
